'Indy'

He really come into his own when he hit the veteran classes and had multiple 1st places at champ shows,

including Best Veteran Dog at FCRS champ show in 2007 and Best Veteran In Show at the United Retriever Club Championship show in 2004.

He gained the last points for his Show Certificate of Merit in style by winning Best in Show at Goyt Valley Gundog Club under the late Mr Michael Boothroyd.

Indy is the only dog to have won Best Dog at both NEFRA open shows in the same year.

At the May show he was BIS, & at the November show he was RBIS.  He was also BVIS on both occasions.

Indy was a KC Gold Good Citizen.

Indy had suffered with Pancreatitis since he was 4 years old and very sadly, it caught up with him on Sunday 11th May 2008,

when he collapsed on the garden. I had to make the heart breaking decision to let him go to sleep.

I miss him so much and will never, ever forget this wonderful dog. He taught me so much in and out of the show ring,

with his passion for life and his way of bringing joy into every life he touched. Run free my darling boy
